Birthday Hug!

We visited my family this past weekend. Surprised my mom for her birthday (she was expecting us to come the following weekend and she was bummed about it... I wonder why). Had a great relaxing weekend. Went to my father's house for brunch on Sunday and relaxed in the hammock and enjoyed the view. :)

Olivia Francine Katen

As you all know by now Olivia Francine Katen was born on Monday, September 20, 2010 weighing in at 8lbs. 5.2oz., and a whopping 22"! We spent two semi-quiet nights at the hospital and Olivia was brought home safely for the first time on Wednesday, September 22nd. We've been getting acclimated to our new lives for the past three weeks and we're doing wonderful! We thank everyone for your love and support and we can't wait for you all to meet her!

It took me a while, but....

I decided a few weeks back that the best way to share my daughter with the people who are closest to me is to put it as an easily accessible blog called... The Daily Olive. I've been known to be lazy, but I promise to do my best to post every day to help your day be a little brighter. I love you all and I hope you enjoy her at a slight percentage to how much I do... because I can tell you it won't even be close.
